I need you to put your thinking caps on with me. When I was pregnant with N, before we knew if we were having a boy or girl, I called her Li'l Bit. I loathed say "the child" or "it" to refer to my sweet little baby. I'm running into the same problem now. We are most likely going to adopt a little girl between the ages of 2-5, but only God knows for sure what our family will look like! So I need a name that we can all use for the time being to humanize this yet unknown child - to make it seem a little more real that someday I will hold him/her in my arms.
